The Clinical Skills Workshop is a 5-CPD point half-day practical course designed to learn and practice specific clinical skills whilst networking with other doctors and nurses.
Doctors, nurses, AHPs and medical students alike all benefit from attending this course. Whether you are just starting your medical career or have been practising for years, the Clinical Skills Workshop enables you to practice skills such as cannulation and venepuncture with clinical trainers on-hand to guide you through best-practice techniques.
On the day you can also complete the fully certified BLS/PLS refresher session which will earn you 2 CPD points, while giving you the refreshed confidence to conduct basic life support.
Attendees also receive a Clinical Skills guide which features tips, tricks and photos demonstrating techniques.
Watmed educational in partnership with ID Medical School invites you to register to attend this course, which is run regularly throughout the year with new course dates announced each month.

EDINAH, NURSE | 10 April 2015
Very good workshop. At least I know if I am not sure about anything I can book for a refresher or be in touch with Anna (very brilliant ID Medical colleague). Now I know I am not just an agency nurse working on my own. And the fact that ID Medical now has a medical school for clinical skills, it gives me peace of mind. Thank you once again for contacting me for this workshop..
EGBUNIWE, DOCTOR | 27 April 2015
It has been helpful to practice clinical skills in a relaxed environment away from the pressure of the hospital and get useful feedback. Teaching is done by practising clinicians who are able to give helpful tips and tricks - would definitely recommend to others..

Working as a full time agency nurse devoids me access to in-house training that hospitals provide their staff. ID Medical and WatMed educational provides these training essential to clinical practice. It enhances my skills and makes me more reliable and versatile at work..
