Dr Kishan Rees, of WatMed educational, was pleased to represent The Lincoln Undergraduate Medical Eduction Department (UMED) on the 2nd October 2015, at the bi-annual careers evening held at Caistor Grammar School. Dr Rees was honoured to be invited and gave two 25 minute talks in the Old Hall, an inspirational setting! A range of students, and their parents, from years eight all the way to lower sixth, were present posing questions related to entering the medical profession. Dr Rees went on to say ‘At a time when Health Education England, would like doctors to go in to primary schools to give careers advise, something which is difficult given the current climate within the NHS, its great to be able to give the brightest young talent open access to the medical profession.’
WatMed educational and Lincoln UMED are looking forward to welcoming this years applicants to medical school from across the county to their inaugural Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) course to be held on 27th and 28th October this half term.
Of particular interest to medical students applying to read medicine is a fantastic Student BMJ resource for Tomorrow’s Medical students.
